About Us

We are Diidxzadáctico, a group of 11 students from the Bachillerato Integral Comunitario de Teotitlán del Valle No. 29. Our project arose from the issue of "Loss of native language speakers" due to displacement by Spanish, thus the project “Design and development of resources and educational material for the teaching of the native language of Teotitlán del Valle" was created. Its goal is to create didactic material that will be promoted to the community of Teotitlán del Valle but mainly to school-age children. Interactive presentations, games, and complementary activities were developed. To carry out this project, applications such as Canva, Genially, Interacty, Educaplay, and Puzzel were used.
About us

Our Work

This project began with a community diagnosis carried out in the community of Teotitlán del Valle, where the issue of 'Loss of native language speakers' emerged. Various interactive presentations, games, and complementary activities were created and implemented as a pilot test for the first time with students from the second module of the Bachillerato Integral Comunitario of Teotitlán del Valle. We later received feedback on the material, which led to corrections. Afterward, the program was applied with second and third grade students from the 'Benito Juárez' elementary school in the same community, resulting in a very positive reception from the children.

It is important to clarify that the 11 members of the project are not originally from Teotitlán del Valle, but rather we come from nearby communities such as: Tlacolula, Tlacochahuaya, Macuilxóchitl, Lachigoló, etc. What unites us is the hope of rescuing the native language of Teotitlán del Valle and encouraging the new generations to learn and preserve it, as it is an important element of the community's culture.
